A graduate of Aitchison College Lahore, where he finished his O-Leven with honors in association with University of Cambridge, England, and went on to finish his A-Level. During his college years he was part of the Swimming Team as well as National Junior Davis Cup Team.
From Government College Lahore he earned a Bachelors degree. Mr Adnan Khan moved to united States in 1979 and attended University of Denver, Colorado. He joined 7-Eleven Corporation while studding at University of Denver. He franchised his first 7- Eleven in Los Angeles California in 1982 going on to grow as an area franchisee and at present time is growing his store and business base. Mr Khan in 1998 joined Crescent Healthcare as a board of director and helped Crescent Healthcare acquire Apria Healthcare California operations making Crescent Healthcare the leading home infusion company in California. In 2003 Mr Khan along with his three close friends formed MAAS Medical. MAAS Medical an Irvine Based Company primary role to manufacture Smart Medical Devices. In 2007 Baxter Healthcare acquired MAAS Medical to improve its infusion systems and related technologies. At present Mr. Khan is C.E.O, President National Chronic Foods Inc.
Mr. Khan was a founding member of Council of Pakistan American Affairs. COPAA serves an important role assisting public officials and policy makers in the United States to understand issues and vital interests related to Pakistan, with the aim of bringing about a positive change in policies and attitudes towards Pakistan. COPAA works with all departments of United States Federal Government to help Pakistani Americans.
Mr. Khan has worked with President Bush and continues to work with President Obama’s White House to help Pakistan and Pakistani Americans. Mr. Khan also works with members of United States Congress and Senators of United States.
Awards: •West Covina Business Man of the Year 2007 • West Covina Citizen of the Year 2008 • 7-Eleven Area Franchisee of the Year 2008 Mr. Khan was name Coastline Community College Visionary of the Year 2010. Mr. Khan Received Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama in 2011. Mr. Khan served as President of Council of Pakistan American Affairs from 2009-2015.
Mr. Khan was appointed by President Obama on January/28/2015 to serve on National Strategy for Preparedness at The White House and presently serves on this program.
2013. Mr. Khan awarded John D. Salmon Award at The White House for teaching resilience and disaster preparedness.
2016. Mr Khan was invited to attend State of the Union by President Obama and Congresswoman Judy Chu.
2016. Mr Khan was recognized and honored at The White House for his work with the LGBTQ community after the Orlando night club shooting.
Mr. Khan also serves as Ambassador at Large Council of Pakistan American Affairs.
Married to Tehmina Adnan Khan and has two children, Valli Ul Haq Khan and Tania Adnan Khan.
