As a dedicated member of the FBI Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association, I am thoroughly committed to supporting the bureau’s efforts to educate and build bridges with the community. I have chosen the organization as my primary avenue of service because I believe so strongly in its mission.
As a member of the FBI CAAA, I have actively participated in FBI Community Relations across Southern California. This includes recruiting potential candidates in cybersecurity, law and language skills for FBI/CIA recruitment events; assisting with set-up and resource procurement for multiple Teen Academy Days; and serving in role-playing exercises for agent training, among others. I also attended the annual FBI Citizen’s Academy regional conference in Birmingham, Alabama last year.
To support my work with the FBI CAAA and expand my knowledge, I have also been actively involved with InfraGuard and Orange County Shield. With InfraGuard, I have participated in home grown radicalization training, active shooter training and home invasion training. With OC Shield, I have participated in terrorism response training at the OC Intelligence Assessment Center and WMD certification training.
I initially became interested in the FBI Citizen’s Academy after aiding the Orange County Sheriff’s department with community policing in Dana Point.
My past service activity has included volunteering for neighborhood food banks, supporting Working Wardrobes and its efforts to help the disadvantaged re-enter the workforce, and beach clean-up in Orange County. I am also a member of the WWII D-Day Museum in New Orleans.
Professionally, I have worked with Morgan Stanley for the last 27 years as Vice President, Wealth Management.
I will continue to be dedicated to, and very active in, supporting its efforts to educate the community about the essential work and value of the FBI.
