Manuel Sanchez is a Native Southern Californian and was raised in Long Beach California. He currently is employed with the Los Angeles County Office of Education as the Production and Operations Engineer/Manager for the video production and 37 years in the broadcast television industry and multimedia industry.
Manuel is a member of the Los Angeles FBI’s Infragard and Orange County FBI’s OC Shield, on November of 2014, Manuel proudly graduated from the FBI Academy Citizen’s Academy Los Angeles California and now is on the Board of Directors.
Volunteers for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Norwalk Station, Manuel is both a member of Ham Watch (Amateur Radio) and Volunteers on Patrol assisting with non-hazardous assignments which include DUI check points and traffic control.
He is currently Co-Chair in the Red Cross Los Angeles Region Territory 4 over seeing the volunteers and disaster service for 49 cities. And Is a Government Liaison for the Red Cross report to the Los Angeles County Emergency Operations Center or at field operations.
Manuel was elected District Governor 4-L2 for 2016-2017 Lions Clubs International Centennial Year in Fukaoka, Japan for a one year term. His Motto is “Building a Strong Foundation”, which means that he wants to focuses the continued education of new Lions with the basics knowledge of being a Lion and to promote new leaders and humanitarian work in Lions Clubs International. He directly oversee 50 clubs and 1250 members and is one of 15 governors representing California with over 740 clubs and 20,000 members.
